M & G makers of the equalizer tandem and 5th wheel pin puller safety tips for truck drivers
M & G MFG LLC makers of the Industrial strength Tandem and 5th wheel pin puller has these safety tips for sharing the road with truck drivers. http://equalizerpinpuller.com
Tips on how to share the road safely with tractor-trailers:
•Avoid the side blind spots of tractor-trailers; generally, if you can't see the driver's face in his side-view mirror, the driver cannot see you.
•Unlike cars, tractor-trailers also have blind spots behind them. Do not tailgate or follow too closely behind them.
•Do not cross behind a tractor-trailer that is backing up. Truck drivers do not have a rearview mirror and won't be able to see you.
•Truck drivers sometimes need to swing very wide to the left when making right turns; watch for their blinkers and be sure to give them enough space to turn.
